I was born and raised in Michigan and went to the University of Michigan for undergrad—so yes, I was a Wolverine! After that, I moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for dental school. Right after dental school, I headed down to San Antonio, Texas to complete a three-year prosthodontics residency program. And now—Dallas is home.
The reason I chose dentistry as a profession is because I saw it as the perfect marriage between art and helping people in need. I’ve always had a huge passion for the arts—I played violin, piano, and drums. I loved music, drawing, painting, sculpting… all of it. But I also had a deep passion for helping others. I spent a lot of time volunteering in local hospitals and youth groups, and that continued throughout college and dental school.
Dentistry brought both worlds together for me. It allowed me to use my artistic skills while making a real difference in people’s lives.
Many of our patients require extensive treatment over a long period of time, and during that journey, we build meaningful relationships. They get to know me, and I get to know them. That’s what I look forward to most—those lasting connections.
At the end of a busy day, when I’ve delivered care that I know is changing someone’s life, it’s incredibly fulfilling. That’s the kind of work that makes me proud.
